🌿 Ellie & Dustin's Backyard Makeover – Northeast Minneapolis

Tucked away in the Saint Anthony neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis, I had the pleasure of helping Ellie and Dustin transform their backyard into a space that finally feels like home.

They wanted something clean, livable, and low-maintenance — a space they could actually enjoy and not just look at from the kitchen window.

We started with a modern paver patio and added a raised bed framed in block — filled with blue crushed stone and ornamental grasses that pop against the arborvitae. The afternoon light through the trees makes this little corner glow (you can kind of see the rainbow catching in one of the shots 🌈 — total bonus).

Ellie and Dustin were a dream to work with — laid-back, curious, and open to ideas. This project reminded me how a few thoughtful touches can completely shift how a space feels.
